Our mission is to strengthen national security, boost domestic manufacturing, and reduce reliance on foreign supply chains. By investing in American workers, technology, and infrastructure, we are ensuring a future where the U.S. leads the world in battery recycling and energy independence.

Driving Economic Growth with High-Quality American Jobs

American Li-ion is fueling economic growth by creating 250 to 300 well-paying jobs at our Atoka facility, strengthening both the local and national workforce. Our operation isn’t just about recycling batteries—it’s about investing in American talent. From engineers and chemists driving technological advancements to skilled laborers and office personnel ensuring smooth operations, we are building a team that will play a crucial role in securing the future of U.S. energy independence.

With competitive salaries and a median salary of $95,000, American Li-ion offers stable, high-paying careers that keep American workers at the forefront of innovation. Our commitment to workforce development ensures that the best and brightest minds in engineering, chemistry, and business leadership have a place in one of the fastest-growing industries in the country. As we expand, our mission remains clear: to create long-term jobs that drive economic growth and solidify America’s leadership in battery technology.

Looking Ahead

As American Li-ion continues to strengthen domestic battery recycling and materials production, we are setting our sights on Project Lazarus—the largest domestic battery materials production facility in North America. This 150,000-square-foot plant in McAlester will significantly expand our ability to process 60,000 metric tons of material annually, further solidifying the U.S. as a leader in critical mineral recovery. By scaling operations, we are not only enhancing national energy security but also reinforcing our commitment to keeping battery manufacturing and recycling within American borders.

This expansion means 250-300 new high-paying jobs, ranging from engineers and chemists to laborers, executives, and office personnel. At full capacity, the facility is projected to generate $600 million in annual revenue, fueling economic growth and job creation in the region. Additionally, the McAlester site will serve as a key logistics and shipping hub for the Atoka facility, ensuring efficient distribution of recycled battery materials across the country. With Project Lazarus, American Li-ion is leading the charge in building a stronger, more independent U.S. supply chain for critical minerals.
